Learning is very important to us, so we have prepared programs that will teach children in a fun way about nature, animals, culture, history and behavior. We know very well that going on a trip itself is always a special event that is expected for days, so we are especially preparing for our guests to make the trip truly unforgettable.

Princesses and knights welcome to Contessa!
Main part of all our programs is certainly choosing costumes in the ball room, where children can enjoy the role of countesses, princesses, kings and knights, choosing between wooden swords and shields, and over 200 colorful dresses and knightly uniforms.
Good behaviour is very important in court.
We have prepared some interesting legends and stories. Visit our decorated rooms in 300 years old curia, meet the horses, enjoy a 3 course lunch dressed in costumes, dance and have fun.

Erdody castle park
15 min from Contessa
The beautiful park of Erdody Castle in Jastrebarsko, unfortunately it is not possible to enter the castle, but sightseeing and listening to an interactive story about the life of the Counts and Countesses, and also fun activities in the park will surely cheer our little guests. If the weather is good we will bring blanckets for a royal picnic in the park. If you wish, we can also walk through the park, find the oldest tree and look where the ducks hid.
Ozalj castle and museum
20 min from Contessa
An imposing castle that we enter over a large wooden bridge. Towers, granary and many more rooms to explore. In the secret passageways below the castle, the dragon guards a treasure, maybe he is still hiding there. From the large terrace we have a wonderful view of the river Kupa and the old hydroelectric power station, the museum in the castle hides a lot of old things, and costumed guides guide you through the whole story.
Aquatika in Karlovcu

Aquatika is a new facility where, with their expert guides, we can get to know the flora and fauna of Croatian rivers and their ecosystems. There are over 100 species of fish in the aquariums, of which about 40 are endemic, and they are arranged so that the fish are viewed from above, as if we were walking along the river, then from the side where we see them below the water surface, and above entering the tunnel. For the full experience, we can hear the sounds of rivers and caves.
